Tech App V8.43.1 Adds Recurring Work Order Icons
Recurring Work Orders got an icon, because asking you to guess was rude. Inspections stopped making you wait. The timer looks like we meant it. Videos go edge to edge now. And the app quietly jots down your location at a few more moments, so later nobody has to ask “wait, where was that?”
Work Orders
Recurring Work Orders got their own badge. You can now tell a recurring Work Order from a one-off at a glance. The new icon does the explaining so you don’t have to open it
Inspections
The sync delay is gone. Inspections used to make you wait a beat while everything caught up. We removed the beat. Finish one, move on, no lag.
Timers
The task timer got a makeover. Same timer, cleaner design. It now looks like what our designers dreamed of it looking like.
Photos and Video
Video now uses the whole screen. You were recording through a letterbox. Now you get every pixel of your phone to frame the shot, which matters when the leak is above the cabinet and you’re filming over your head.
Location
Location capture now covers seven more moments. The app records location when it’s opened for the first time, and when a technician adds a comment, starts a timer, submits an ETA, marks parts pending, marks no access, or withdraws from a task. Most of the job gets a timestamp and a place attached to it, which means less “wait, where was that?” later. Location is only captured while the app is open.
