Tech App V8.34.1 Unlocks Unit Work Orders
Tech App V8.34.1 — Easy access to all open work orders at the property and for the unit you're by.
This release significantly increases your technicians visibility. Every open Work Order in the unit you're standing in, every open Work Order at your property, all easily accessible. Plus we made it harder to logout of the app by accident.
Work Orders
See every open Work Order for the unit. From inside the Work Order. You're standing in the unit anyway. Now you can see what else is waiting there. Tap the 3 dots at the top of any Work Order, hit Unit Tasks, and every other open Work Order for that unit is right there: who it's on, when it's scheduled, and what it needs. No more finishing a job, leaving the unit, and getting sent back to the same unit two hours later for something you could have knocked out on the spot.
If you have self-assign permission, you can grab those Work Orders for yourself, including ones currently assigned to another tech. One trip, multiple wins. Admins control who gets this power with a new toggle on the technician's profile in the Admin Portal.
Tasks Page
New "Other Open" tab. See everything, touch nothing. Your Tasks page now shows all open Work Orders at your property that aren't yours, with filters for Unassigned and Assigned to Others.
Finished your work orders? Before you assume the property has no work orders and start painting the curb check what your teammates are still buried under. It's look-but-don't-touch: you can view every detail on someone else's Work Order, but editing it stays their job.
Logging Out
Logout now asks if you meant to. The logout button used to take you at your word, instantly. One stray thumb and you were staring at the login screen. Now you'll get a confirmation first.
Shared device? Leave it cleaner than you found it. When logging out, you can now delete the Single Sign-On (SSO) data stored on the device. The next tech gets a fresh, fast login instead of wading through your leftovers.
