AppWork Release Notes – Inspections, Smarter AutoAssign & More! 🎉

We’re back with another game-changing update, introducing new inspection features, making AutoAssign smarter, and our Entrata integration stronger. Let’s break it down!

Inspections Just Got a Major Upgrade!

1. New Input Type: Text Field 📝

Now you can add a simple text field to inspection items for more flexibility.

How to set it up: ➡️ Settings > System Settings > Maintenance > Inspections ➡️ Select your inspection template ➡️ Change an item’s input to “Text Field”

2. Property-Specific Inspection Templates 🏢

Super Admins can now assign inspection templates to specific properties, so site teams only see the ones they need.

How to set it up:

• ➡️ Settings > System Settings > Maintenance > Inspections > Select a template > Click on settings

3. New Mobile Inspections & Admin App Design

A fresh, redesigned interface makes inspections easier and more intuitive on mobile and in the admin app.

4. Inspection Workflow & Clarity Improvements

• "Good Condition" has been renamed to "No Action Required" for clarity!
• Improved due date handling – Stay on track!
• Easier to see when photos/comments are required – No more missing info!
• Selecting a status that needs work? We now auto-save the selection!

5. AutoAssign Just Got Smarter!

We’ve added a "Group by Unit" toggle to AutoAssign. When enabled, the system assigns all work orders for a unit to the same technician, boosting efficiency. Turn it on in AutoAssign settings!

6. Make Ready Board Tweaks 🛠

We removed the status view. Now, you can switch between active and archived units easily using the Make Ready Board tabs.

7. Maintenance Reports → Insight Reports 📩

Same powerful data, new clearer name in staff email settings!

8. Response Time Report

• Added a new totals column to the Response Time Report making it easier to see totals and averages for groups of properties.
• Added the new average completion time column to the Response Time report exports.

9. Fixed

• Open work orders in Insight Reports now display correctly.
• Technician profile now appears in work order assignment emails.
• Techs now receive notifications when mentioned in work orders.

10. Entrata Integration Upgrade

We’ve upgraded our Entrata integration for a smoother experience. Now you can:

• Click a work order ID in AppWork to open it in Entrata.
• Sync work order schedules between AppWork & Entrata.
• See technician names in completion notes.
• Sync comments & images between both platforms.
• View the name of the user who created the work order in Entrata.
