Set Property Work Days So Work Skips Closed Days
Last week we rolled out the first pieces of the new scheduling system, including the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Schedule, which put Work Orders and Make Readies on the same timeline for the first time. This week we keep going. New pieces go live throughout the week, and each one makes the schedule a little smarter about how your property runs.
Property Settings

Set your property’s work days. Starting today, you can tell AppWork which days your property is open and which days it isn’t. Once it’s set, AppWork keeps work off the days you’re closed, so nobody accidentally schedules an AC replacement for Sunday.
It takes about thirty seconds and can be set up and can be done by anyone with access to property settings.
Go to Settings > Property Settings > Maintenance > Scheduling > Work Days, pick your days, and you’re done. Every property can have its own setup, so a site that runs six days a week and one that runs five don’t have to share a calendar.
Coming Later This Week
Technician time off tracking. Right now the schedule assumes everyone is always in. That changes this week. You’ll be able to log technician time off directly in AppWork, so the system knows who’s working and when, and the schedule reflects it. That unlocks a lot more than scheduling, and we’ll show you what we mean in a few days.
