Scheduling Time Slots Arrive, Plus Big Bug Fixes

Admin Portal
Bugfixes

Scheduling Time Slots Are Here. Also, We Went on a Bug-Squashing Bender. One big scheduling upgrade, a pile of quality-of-life wins, and hundreds of bugs that will not be missed.

Scheduling

New time slots in schedule Work Orders

Time slots have entered the chat. You can now create time slots and schedule Work Orders into them. Pick a date, and you'll see a new option to select a time slot. Residents get the time slot in their notification, so "sometime Tuesday" becomes an actual window, and the Work Order timeline shows the scheduled slot too. No more residents hovering by the door all day. To turn it on, head to Settings > System Settings > Maintenance > Scheduling > Enable Time Slots.

Work Orders

iPhone photos work now. AppWork now supports .HEIC files, the format iPhones uses. Snap it, attach it, done.

Wasps get their own category. New Work Order category under Pest Control, just for wasps. Because apparently bees and wasps are different.

Vendor notes made it to the rating page. Vendor completion notes now show on the Work Order rating page. Residents can now rate the work with the full story in front of them.

The timer learned when to stop. Fixed an issue where the work order timer kept running on canceled Work Orders. It was out there clocking hours on jobs that no longer existed. Impressive work ethic. Wrong place for it.

Reports

The Completed Work Orders detail view is now better than ever. It loads significantly faster, unit numbers are now visible, and Work Order priority is on the report. Less waiting, more context, fewer "wait, which unit was that?" moments.

Communication

Download resident text threads. New print button at the top of any resident text thread lets you download the whole conversation. Handy for records, disputes, or proof that yes, you did tell them three times.

The bulk email attachment icon makes sense now. We updated it to be more user friendly. The old one technically worked. It just didn't look like it did.

Inspections

Credit where it's due. The PDF for completed inspections now shows "completed by" instead of "assigned to." The person who did the work gets their name on it. Wild concept.

Under the Hood

Hundreds of bugs, zero survivors. Over the last few weeks we've resolved hundreds of bugs and stability and performance issues. You won't point at any one of them. You'll just notice AppWork feels steadier than it's ever been.
