Cleaner Inspection Filters, Fewer Resident Texts
There's a particular kind of satisfaction in cleaning out a drawer you don't technically need to clean out. Nobody asked and it wasn't messy. You just open it one day, see the dead batteries and the takeout menus from a place that closed, and decide today is the day.
This release is that drawer. Inspection filters no longer show you templates you deactivated months ago. Residents get one text message about a new work order instead of two. And CSV imports now pause to let you look at what you're about to upload before you upload it, which is the software equivalent of checking the pockets before the wash.
Inspections
When filtering inspections, you no longer see deactivated inspection templates. If you need to pull data or would like to see the deactivated templates, simply reactivate them under the inspection settings.
Work Orders
We updated the wording of the text messages that residents get when work orders are created and assigned.
We also consolidated the text messages for when a work order is created and assigned at the same time, so the resident only gets one message instead of two.
New Confirmation Text Message for Unassigned Work Orders Hi {resident first name}, a {category} work order has been created. We will send you updates as the work progresses. Sincerely, {property name}.
New Confirmation Text Message for Assigned Work Orders Hi {resident first name}, a {category} work order has been created and is assigned to {tech first name}. We will send you updates as the work progresses. Sincerely, {property name}.
CSV Imports
When uploading data to AppWork via CSV, there is now an extra step to review and confirm the information being uploaded.
Somewhere out there, a resident is getting one text message instead of two and will never know how close they came to the second one. They won't thank you for it. They won't thank us either. That's fine. The best updates are the ones nobody has to think about, and this release is full of them. Enjoy!
