We Give out Badges for a Living. This Fall, G2 Gave Us Six More of Our Own

Here at AppWork, we hand out a lot of badges. Technicians earn them for five star reviews, for finishing Make Readies, for logging inspections, for showing up week after week and doing the work. It’s built into the product because we believe recognition should be earned, not assumed.
So there’s something super fitting about opening our G2 profile heading into this fall, and seeing six new badges with our name on them. Turns out, the same idea applies to software companies too. Show up, do the work, and the reviews will reflect all the effort you have put in.
Here is what AppWork picked up in the G2 Fall 2026 reports:
- Best Est. ROI, Mid-Market
- High Performer
- High Performer, Mid-Market
- High Performer, Small Business
- Momentum Leader
- Users Most Likely to Recommend, Mid-Market
None of these recognitions are handed out by a marketing team.
G2 badges are built from verified customer reviews. A property manager in Texas rated us. A regional maintenance director in Ohio rated us. Nobody at AppWork wrote those reviews, and we certainly did not buy a badge for the clout.
That distinction is important to us, because it’s the same ideal that AppWork runs on. Our whole pitch to maintenance and operations teams has always been: get real technicians using the app for real work, and the data takes care of itself. Insight Reports, callback tracking, all of it depends on real usage.

That philosophy holds up when the technology becomes the thing being reviewed.
Best Est. ROI, Mid-Market: the math checks out
This badge comes straight from what users told G2 about payback and cost savings. It also happened to line up with what we’ve seen in our own numbers. A 250 unit property running at a $1,300 average rent typically sees close to an 8% bump in NOI once AppWork is fully adopted. Scale that to a 10,000 unit portfolio and the number holds.
Three High Performer badges: small teams, mid-size portfolios, same result
We picked up High Performer overall, plus separate wins in Mid-Market and Small Business. That spread tells a bigger story: the platform is inclusive of operators of all sizes. Whether a team is centralized and overseeing a handful of properties or scaling across a large portfolio, the experience holds up well enough that users, regardless of portfolio size, rated us highly.
Momentum Leader: we’re not slowing down
This recognition tracks growth and satisfaction together, and it’s the badge that best reflects where AppWork is right now. Units on the platform have exceeded 200,000 units, and the technician adoption numbers stay consistent at 99%+. Momentum is hard to fake on a review site. It shows up because more teams are switching, and the people who switch are sticking around. Receiving this award in back-to-back quarters in 2026 solidifies that those using AppWork are confident in the software and its growth.
Users Most Likely to Recommend, Mid-Market: the one we’re proudest of
Anyone can claim customers love a product. This badge exists because customers said so, directly to G2. For a maintenance platform, that’s the whole game. Through all of our channels, word of mouth is still one of our largest drivers of growth. If property managers aren’t telling their peers to make the switch, nothing else on this list matters much.
Thanks for the badges
We built AppWork because the maintenance module inside most property management systems wasn’t cutting it, and we thought maintenance teams deserved better tools and more recognition for the work they do. These six G2 fall badges show that the industry agrees.
