Work Order & Technician App Updates for Faster Maintenance Ops
This release brings a mix of visibility, speed, and small quality-of-life upgrades that make a significant impact on the day to day. Residents can now more easily share reviews, technicians get clearer signals in the field with PTE status, parts, and access attempts right from the task list, and RealPage clients can mark units as ready without leaving AppWork. Add in a few reporting fixes and performance improvements, and things should feel noticeably smoother across the board.
Work Orders
We’ve made it even easier for residents to share their feedback online. After submitting a review in AppWork, the review is now automatically copied to the resident’s clipboard, making it simple to paste and post anywhere.
Make Readies
RealPage clients can now mark units as “Ready” directly within AppWork.
To enable this feature:
- Go to:
Settings → System Settings → Maintenance → Make Ready - Turn on: Allow Users To Mark Units As Ready In AppWork
Technicians
- Added an “Active Since” field to technician exports for better visibility.
- Fixed an issue where sorting by the “Active Since” column was not working correctly on the technicians page.
Technician App
- Technicians can now quickly see if Permission to Enter (PTE) is granted directly from the task list, with a clear green or red key indicator.
- Tasks waiting on parts are now easier to identify with a parts icon shown directly in the task list — no need to open each task.
- Access attempts are now visible from the task list, allowing teams to stay informed without extra clicks.
- Additional behind-the-scenes improvements have been made to enhance performance and fix lingering bugs, making the app faster and more reliable.
