Technician App Feature Updates and Fixes

We’ve rolled out several improvements to make inspections smoother and give admins more control over technician inputs. Make sure your technicians download the updated app to get access to the new features and improvements!

New Features

Optional custom text inputs Admins can now hide custom text input fields when technicians should not have access to them.

To hide the custom/free text input navigate to:
Settings > System Settings > Maintenance > Technicians > Custom No Access Note

Media responses for inspections The technician app now supports media uploads as inspection responses, allowing technicians to attach photos or other media directly when completing an inspection item.

Fixes and Improvements

• Inspection scrolling issue resolved Fixed an issue where the inspection view could unexpectedly jump while navigating through items.

• Android home bar display fix Resolved a layout issue on Android where the home bar appeared too low on the screen.
