Customization, Timer Upgrades, and More: Your September AppWork Update

We've been hard at work behind the scenes, and we're excited to roll out some shiny new features and improvements to make your workday smoother and more efficient. Whether you're all about customizing your workflow or just looking for ways to keep an eye on your techs, we've got something in this release for you. Let's dive in! 🌊

Technician Timer: Powered Up! ⚡

Our timer feature just got even better with these snazzy new updates:

• Filter & Find: 🔍 You can now filter the work orders page to ONLY see active work orders where the timer is currently running. Now you can instantly spot where your technicians are hard at work!
• Task Time Report: 📊 Filter Edition
  • Not only can you check completed tasks, but now you can filter to see data from open tasks as well. More insights = more power!
• Details, Details, Details: 🕵️‍♂️ Click into the technician view of the task time report to get the scoop on individual tasks, now including the property name. This one’s for all the data lovers out there!

Note: These features are only relevant for clients using the technician timer. Not using it yet? Head over to system settings > maintenance > technicians and give it a whirl!

Customization Bonanza! 🎨

AppWork just got even more customizable, making it a perfect fit for your company's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

• No More Withdrawals! 🚫 You can now remove the option for technicians to withdraw from tasks. Find this shiny new setting under system settings > maintenance > tech settings. (Admins, don’t worry—you still have the power to un-assign tasks!)
• Priority Your Way: 🏆 Customizable work order priorities are here! Edit the default categories (Regular, Emergency, Code Violations) to suit your workflow under system settings > maintenance > work orders. Make it yours!

Integrations - Smoother than Ever!

We’re always working behind the scenes to make AppWork play nicer with your property management systems. This release brings some significant improvements:

• Yardi Make Ready: 🏗️ Fixed an issue where move-in dates weren’t auto-updating in certain scenarios. (Because who likes surprises?)
• RealPage Overhaul: 🔧 We’ve reworked a lot of the RealPage integration, especially around the make ready board. More precision, fewer headaches.

• CSV Export for Units Page 📥
  • You can now export the units page to a CSV. Time to make those spreadsheets sing!
• New Work Order Categories 📋
  • For clearer reporting, we’ve added a couple of new work order categories:
    • General: Resurfacing
    • General: Cleaning
    • Windows & Doors: Entry Gate
