Here's what's new:
Custom Work Order Priorities
We’ve just made customizing work order priorities easier than ever! You can now create as many work order priorities as you like, complete with custom colors and icons!
This new level of personalization will help you better organize your work orders based on your unique needs.
Remember, work order priorities can still be set by default based on the kind of work order, but with these new options, the possibilities for customization are endless!
Head to Settings > System Settings > Work Orders
to start creating your priorities today!
The new priorities will not show on the technician app until we release the next update (scheduled for next week)
Earned Badges Tracking
Let the badge competition begin! You can now track how many badges each technician has earned—both in total and over a specific time period—from the List View of the technician page.

AppWork Coins Formatting Improvements
We’ve given the AppWork Coins some formatting to make them easier to read and use!
Make Ready Settings Update
This update makes the make ready board even more versatile.
Clients can now use a hybrid version of the property management software integration with the make ready board. Specifically, for make ready date input allowing users to manually input the ready date while keeping the integration active for the actual unit completion. If you enable this setting, the ready date import from your property management system will be deactivated.
Updated Archived Units on the Make Ready Board
We’ve streamlined the handling of archived units! Instead of the legacy “archived” view, we’ve added a new tab on the make ready board specifically for units that have been made ready and subsequently moved in. Access archived units more easily than ever before!
Improved Inspections System
We’ve revamped the inspections system with a new URL method for each button clicked, providing a smoother experience and adding the ability to easily share specific inspection URLs.
This improvement is just the beginning—soon it will be rolled out to other parts of the platform for an even better user experience.
Default Order for Technician Work Orders
Admins, we’ve made it easier to manage the default order for technician work orders! A helpful tooltip has been added to provide clear instructions on how to set it up.
AppWork Badge System & Technician App Optimizations
We’ve made significant optimizations to the AppWork Badge system and the Technician app, making both faster and more efficient for an enhanced experience all around.
Entrata Integration Updates
We’ve made some updates to our Entrata integration to improve compatibility and functionality.
Auto Assign All for Growing Companies
Expanding your property portfolio? We’ve got you covered! With a new permission type, you can now set certain admins to “Auto Add All,” ensuring they always have access to all properties in your growing portfolio—no more manual updates as new properties are added!
Improved Yardi Integration – Work Order Descriptions
We’ve enhanced the Yardi integration to now pull in all three work order description fields: brief description, problem description, and full description—ensuring you have all the details you need within AppWork!
Improved Yardi Phone Number Handling
More resident phone numbers are now in AppWork! If no mobile number is saved for a resident, AppWork will now pull in the home phone number from Yardi for more complete contact information.
Yardi Integration – No pCode Handling
We’ve improved the Yardi integration to cover scenarios where residents don’t have a pCode, ensuring everything runs smoothly even when that information is missing.
Improved Unit Search for Resident Work Orders
Resident work order creation just got easier! The unit search has been improved, making it simpler for residents to find their unit when submitting a work order.
Recurring Inspection Template Filters Fix
We’ve resolved an issue with recurring inspection template filters to ensure your filters work as expected and give you accurate results every time.
Fixed Manual Archiving of Units
We’ve resolved an issue where manually archiving units from the make ready board wasn’t working correctly. Now, archiving works seamlessly!
Unit Completion Date Fix
We’ve fixed an issue where the date a unit was marked complete was always showing as the current date. Now, it reflects the accurate completion date.
New AppWork API Endpoints
We’ve added several new endpoints to the AppWork API, giving our partners and clients even more detailed data to work with!
