AppWork Got a Tune-Up And It’s Running Better Than Ever
Make Ready Board Enhancements
We gave the Make Ready Board a little glow-up. It’s now easier than ever to see what’s going on at a glance while keeping things clean and organized.
- Added shiny new tooltips that pop up when you hover over any cell because who doesn’t love a good hover hint?
- Introduced a sleek new empty state (for when your board’s feeling a little too tidy).
- Fixed the navigation controls on the calendar, you can finally switch months and years again.
- New icons for tabs and views because visuals matter.
- Updated the calendar header layout and moved filters, date selectors, and tab icons to smarter spots.
- You can no longer archive reactivated units when the “Archive by Integration” toggle is on (we’re keeping things consistent).
- And finally, those pesky tab counts that didn’t match the actual units? They’re now best friends again.
Work Orders
Work orders got a serious quality-of-life upgrade.
- Resident contact info now prints right on the work order PDF (handy, right?).
- Tagged people now actually show up when printing wild concept!
- Fixed that mysterious Yardi error: “could not find subcategory in category.”
- Switching properties clears the unit filter automatically (because starting fresh should be easy).
- Editing timer events is smoother, you can now type in times instead of endless scrolling.
- The work order heatmap on mobile got a facelift, it’s prettier and easier to read.
- You can now view your newly created work order immediately, no need to wait for the confetti to stop celebrating.
- Fixed a translation bug that cut off descriptions in the tech app when switching from English to Spanish.
- Searching for residents on the work order page works again (welcome back, functionality!).
- AppWork now updates Yardi timer events in real time when they’re removed in AppWork.
- Fixed a sneaky issue where the CVV field was hiding in some cases.
Technicians
We tweaked the tech side a bit.
- Sorting by rating now also considers the number of reviews (fair’s fair).
- Fixed a funny typo in ETA emails where “minutes” appeared twice. (We promise your techs aren’t THAT slow.)
Inspections
Inspections just got sharper.
- The index page now shows the right inspections when you filter to the current month.
- Renaming templates now gives you clearer error messages if that name’s already taken.
- Reposting a PDF after a post error is now easier.
- Fixed a bug that allowed duplicate inspections to sneak in.
- Fixed an issue where some inspections were missing their unit.
Vendors
We made the vendor activation/deactivation experience more delightful. Small touch, big vibes.
Admin App
Photo uploads in the admin app are back to behaving themselves.
Reporting
Reports got a solid tune-up more accurate, more logical, less frustrating.
- Response Time Report now uses open → completion instead of assignment → completion for averages.
- Inspection counts by technician are now accurate in insight reports.
- Removed admins no longer get insight emails (you’re welcome, former admins).
- Scrollbars no longer block performance arrows visual harmony achieved.
- Fixed double-loading overlays on the Inspection Results Report.
- Cleaned up empty states on various IRR and Inspection pages.
- The total row in the Work Order Saturation Report PDF now calculates properly.
- Fixed a mismatch in Response Time Report data between the table and modal.
Settings
- “Auto-add all new properties” now properly works for Super Admins.
- The Subscriptions page now shows your actual subscriptions (imagine that!).
- Improved the look and feel of the “Update Subscription” buttons.
- Fixed incorrect subscription events showing up on the property group timeline.
- Some users couldn’t log in after changing their password — now they can.
- You can now delete data from deactivated properties. Clean slates for everyone.
If you’ve made it this far, give your self a pat on the back (just put the hammer down first).
Thanks for using AppWork - we’ll be back soon with more updates that make your day to day a little easier.
