AppWork’s Innovation, Evolution Brings on Engrain Maps
This no-cost tool helps customers be more efficient with operations, streamline maintenance workflows, and improve resident experience.
AppWork has taken another step forward with its mobile maintenance and engagement tool with an exciting new integration partnership with Engrain.
Engrain’s state-of-the-art interactive maps are now integrated into AppWork’s software to bring greater work-order efficiency and property maintenance troubleshooting and budgeting.
An interactive, unit-by-unit apartment property map now overlays AppWork’s powerful data analytics platform, offering enhanced visual storytelling at no additional cost to all AppWork clients.
Property management companies can now visualize key maintenance data points directly on their property maps. This integration enables more efficient operations, streamlined maintenance workflows, and an overall improved resident experience.
Jacqueline Dill, Asset Manager, Asset Living, said this Engrain function – the latest of many new features on AppWork – brings value to her teams as they continue to roll it out.
“It’s going to help improve our efficiency, especially for our supervisors when coordinating the workday for their technicians,” said Dill, an 18-year industry professional. She recognizes AppWork’s ongoing pursuit of product upgrades.
“The company frequently requests feedback and rolls out product enhancements,” Dill said.
“The AppWork team has been so involved in their product over the past year. Compared to other operational platforms, I have rarely seen product evolution done so quickly.”
As for the Engrain function, Dill added:
“It displays heat maps that are a real value to us. They help us quickly connect the dots. We are analyzing massive amounts of data and this gives us a chance to quickly identify trends and determine our best course of action such as deciding whether to repair or replace a roof.”
She said the heat maps are also a great resource for budget planning and help ensure capital spending is allocated to the true needs of the asset, which her investors appreciate.
Asset Living and First Communities rolled out AppWork last September.
“The company’s product support level has been second to none,” Dill said. “It’s a tech company with roots in property management – and not the opposite, and the tech first focus shows.”
She said the make-ready status board function saves her team time and keeps it better organized.
“Because of it, our maintenance technicians can spend more time in the apartment instead of running back and forth.”
Engrain's Unit Map technology is widely recognized for its innovative approach to property visualization. By integrating AppWork's data, clients will experience a seamless blend of information and interactivity, setting a new standard in property management.
“Every real estate software application should have a map," Engrain CEO, Brent Steiner, said. “Adding maps to its software gives AppWork a competitive advantage in helping operators visualize and understand key trends happening on site and take action to resolve any issues. We’re excited to welcome AppWork to the Unit Map ecosystem and look forward to our partnership.”
"At AppWork, our mission has always been to empower property managers with the tools they need to provide exceptional service and streamline their operations", Sean Landsberg, Co-founder and CEO of AppWork, said.
“By partnering with Engrain, we are taking this mission a step further, offering our clients an unparalleled level of insight and control over their assets.”
