Why Washers Walk Across Floors
Okay, so without further ado, let's go ahead and go to that section and take a look at what Smart HQ service can do for you. I'm gonna see right now is amazing. What I'm gonna show you right now, my friends, is how you can run a spin test right from your application and essentially ramp up the speed on the motor and graph the speed, right?
So we're gonna see two things. We're gonna see the target speed, but we're also gonna see the actual basket spin, speed, spin action on. And now you're gonna see that basket begin to spin first slow, and then it's gonna really get up there. Now, when you do this, my friends, do not do this with the door open.
Okay? I'm a, uh, trained professional in a controlled environment. So this tells you right now that the machin is capable of going up to 800 RPM at the very least, but as soon as it gets comfortable, right, the stakes are going up. Whoa, look at that 1100. What we just did right now, my friends okay, is we were able to activate the spin test by utilizing Smart HQ service and verify that the motor is capable of spinning the basket all the way up to the maximum target speed.
That's extremely important because that's gonna prevent your clothes from coming out wet, right? If the washing machine only spins at a low speed, it's not gonna be able to squeeze the wa the water out of those clothes, right? And they're gonna come out wet. All right, my friends. So there you have it. That is how you can utilize Smart HQ service, not only to activate the mode, right?
So remember I said before, if you wanna check that 120 volts AC coming from the main to the inverter, you can just simply select agitate, or select spin. It doesn't, doesn't matter which one you're gonna, you're gonna activate the the one 20 Volts ac. But also, as you saw, we were able to ramp up the motor to the highest speed and we actually didn't show that part of the video because, um.
The platform that you're watching right now, this is the Fix It Like a Pro training series. In this platform, you are gonna be able to see that video in its entirety. So just go ahead and look at the, look at the menu of videos that we have, and you can find the one that says, uh, washing Machine, I think, uh, front Load Washer Diagnostics, something like that.
But Smart HQ Service allows you to measure that. Signal, remember the, uh, what was it called? The speed feedback signal or, or RPM signal or speed signal, something along those lines. Right? The white line that we said we're not able to measure with a multimeter Smart HQ service allows you to, to measure that because it actually tells you the RPMs and in front load washers.
I can tell you the, the maximum RPM is gonna be 1300 and you want to go ahead and run that test. Especially after you, uh, maybe work on the machine for something related to the motor, not spinning, not agitating, because you wanna make sure that not only does the motor, uh, get up to the maximum spin speed, but also the machine is balanced correctly.
Right? By running that test, you can actually. Adjust the legs as the speed is ramping up to make sure that the legs aren't bouncing all over the place and that's gonna ensure that the washer is gonna be fully balanced. And then when the customer does their, their loads, they're not gonna go all that. You know, the washing machine is not gonna walk all over the place.
