All right, we are gonna replace this outlet. Um, I have already locked and tagged out this outlet and verified there's no power, but for the sake of the video and for proper checking, we'll do it again. Uh, you can see. This outlet is toast. So,

uh, there's nothing wrong with the outlet. Uh, we're just gonna put in a USB outlet, uh, to allow some more flexibility when it comes to, uh, charging. So we have a USV. And A-U-S-B-C, uh, it's standard 15 amp, um, outlet.

So again, just to make sure.

Got nothing.

So we got the outlet off.

I'm gonna check all these, make sure we've got no, no braking of any of the cover, and then we can choose these.

All right. We've got our. Ground screw connected. Uh, I'm gonna flip this outlet upside down. Uh, just the way that it, the ground screw connects from the bottom. It's very hard to do with it the other way. So I'll flip this thing around. Now. We'll connect our common wire. All right, so we got our. Common wire

connected. Now let's run the hot wire. I don't give you much room here, do they?

All right. Hot wire's connected.

We'll put our cover plate back on. Well, not the one that came off. This one has a new,

has a new cover plate. And this one looks like it snaps. So we'll screw this

plastic piece onto the outlet

and then.

Bingo, let's go turn the power back on and give it a test. Power's back on. Got my lights. Show. It's operational.

Good to go.
