Finalizing Your Project Schedule
Okay, so I have taken the rough outline of my project schedule from my, uh, monthly templates and transferred it over here neatly into the Microsoft Project program that I have on my computer. As you can see, I have a nice list of task lists along with a Gantt chart, uh, to be able to run my project through the duration.
I was able to shave off a little bit of time by going through this process. I'm still gonna go back in and add in a couple of fluff days because there is some exterior work that weather may affect and you need to have those delays built in, uh, as well. Uh, I've also used this already to be corresponding with my material and trade partners to work on it.
Um, and then when IPDF it, I have this nice schedule to be able to send over to my customers and my trades. Uh, to be able to work off and make it a fluid project. I hope this has been helpful for you guys. You don't always have to go all the way through this step, um, as I did with this one. Again, this was a complicated project that needed this level of details.
Uh, sometimes you could have stopped with the first step of just putting it in your calendar, doing a rough schedule in your notebook, um, and not having to go this far. Uh, so I hope this was helpful for everybody. Have a good one.
