The Dos and Don'ts of Toilet Wipes
In my entire career, I've had hundreds, if not thousands of work orders due to toilets and issues with clogs, and about 90% of work orders come from these guys. Yes, I've pulled a lot of different things out of toilets, unfortunately, but these are the things that we kind of know are there the things that are known, those are known clogs.
But what about the clogs you can't see at all? That's right. I'm talking about the hidden clogs, the ones that you don't see. Now, typically everyone uses toilet paper. It's common, but unfortunately, a lot of people like to use wipes. Now, even though it says flushable, I promise you. Please do not flush any type of wipes down your toilet.
Now as soon as you flush toilet paper, eventually as it travels down the pipe, eventually your toilet paper will break up, therefore giving you a less chance of a potential claw. Now with wipes,
no matter what I do, she ain't coming to park. So the more wipes you flush, the more chance you'll have of a clog. If you suspect your toilet has a clog that you can't see all toilets come with an emergency shutoff valve. Just turn your valve all the way to the right and give us a call. Always remember, never flush the wrong thing, and it's always good to invest in a plunger.
