All right. You've gotten the work order. That Work Order asks you to go do something. Not only that, chances are that work order doesn't have complete information. Here's some tips on how you can attempt to decrease the amount of time when performing a work order. First, take a look at which particular trade it is that you're gonna be working on.

An example, if you're going to perform an electrical repair, you are going to need some specific tools and parts and pieces. They, those tools and parts and pieces are going to vary. Then if you're going to look at plumbing or air conditioning or uh, uh, uh, drain line concern. Each and every one of those tasks will be in general identified by what your resident said in the service request to begin with.

So start out there. If it's an electrical repair, take out a five gallon bucket or other container and ensure that you have the most common repair needs, for instance. Standard light switch, uh, a three-way switch if your, if your property happens to have those, don't forget safety equipment, for instance, lockout tagout and eye protection.

Those items having with you can prevent a return to the shop. It's a great idea to include in your regular toolkit. Gloves, something to protect. These are these go across all the various trades that we end up working in. Once you are ready with the most common repairs that you're going to need to have, then think through what is the most common item, similar to what the service request indicates.

If the item identified is small and lightweight and it won't exhaust you carrying it to the apartment, have it nearby, maybe just making a assumptive guess of most common items can save you a trip. Lastly, before you leave the shopper, wherever your parts are stole are, are, are stored. Have something available to clean up with.

It's a good idea to carry a small trash bag with you, carry a rag or a sponge, something that you can wipe down our residents belongings or, or our residents environment before you leave. These are ways of preparing for a work order before you go complete that service request.
