When working with a garbage disposal, um, a couple things you need to know if one ever gets stuck or seized and you can't quite break it loose with the, the switch and it's just sitting down there humming. There are two things you need to know. There is a reset button, uh, you can see it. Right here. Now this one is not tripped.
It's not stuck, but if it were stuck, that button would be pushed down. So you wanna push it up. And then this hole right here is where you would put a disposal wrench in order to crack it loose. Okay? Now again, this one is not stuck, so it has no problem spinning. But when you have an instance where a disposal is seized, you want to hit that reset button right there and then use that disposal wrench and crack it loose.
Uh, they also make tools. That you can do the same thing from above. There's a tool that can slide down in there and then you, you would break it free from the top, but either way, that's how you would free up a seized disposal.
