Project Scheduling Made Simple
Hey guys, it's Rachel Cobb. Today I'm gonna speak with you about project scheduling. One of the best ways to make sure that you execute your projects efficiently is to have a plan and the best laid out plans have schedules. After all, a goal without a plan is just a wish. Whether you're old school and you like to use pen and paper, an iPad, or a tablet, computer.
A whiteboard, a calendar, whatever way is your preferred method. As long as you have a plan, you're already steps ahead to being able to execute your project more efficiently. I myself prefer to use a combination of all of these. I'm a little bit of a hybrid. I like to be able to do a rough draft on my notebook and then put it into my computer, uh, using a software.
I personally like to use Microsoft Project, but there's Smartsheet and other, uh, projects and software out there, uh, that your company might utilize or that you might want to invest in, or you can simply put it into your calendar, whatever's the most efficient way for you. But next I'm gonna go through my preferred method of putting together schedules for my projects.
I currently have a ground up build that I need to put together a more complex schedule for. So stay tuned as I go through that next process with you.
