Hey guys, Rachel Cobb here Today. I'm on site actively project managing and site superintendent, one of our job sites. I just wanted to go over a few things for, from the project management side of, some good things to do. Out here I have an active crew going on behind me. I think there's two there, and I've got another one over there on the other side of the property.

But I got my crew going this morning. I made sure everybody is identified in the proper shirts so that you can see 'em, you can see me. I'm got my hat, my shirt, so I can be readily identified when I'm on site. I checked in with the office with the manager and with the maintenance manager to let 'em know where we are, what we're doing.

And what our plan is for today. And if we run into any snags, what will our plan be for tomorrow? And then I will check in with them at the end of the day as well. So when you're on site and you're project management communication is key. Communication with your team, who is actively out here working, communication with the site team so they know what's going on.

So that if anything happens with any residents or anything going on with the work that you're performing that they're aware, they're not surprised. And if any phone calls. Messages come in, they know how to properly handle it, and it's not a fire drill. So I've already checked in. She knows our plan for today.

So does maintenance. They have my phone number they can call or text me. On this particular project, yesterday, they already identified another work area and they asked for us to get a change order together for them. To add on an additional unit that they did not know needed to have work done on it.

So we were onsite and able to assess that with them and their maintenance manager to determine the scope of work for what they wanted. So again, communication is key. Like in everything that you're doing, communication is key. But we're out here whether is decent today, we're making some progress, which is great.

It's keeping everybody happy. We're moving on our progress and our schedule. So I'm out here to make sure that we are doing our scope correctly. Everybody is communicated to 'em, they know what's going on and that we're on schedule. I'm also doing quality control checks while we're out here. So yeah, day in the life of project management and site superintendent.
