Look the Part: Maintenance Pride
Hello everyone. The next topic we're gonna have is looking professional if for most of us maintenance workers, we typically have a, a, a uniform or some type or a comfortable way of having a, a, just a jersey or something reflecting that we are maintenance. It's always very important that we do that, that we always keep ourselves, uh, you know, organized when it comes to our tools.
And at the same time that we look presentable, that we look professional. Remember, unless, uh, some people in, in an apartment community may be new tenants, for example. Or visitors are passing by, or just the general public contractors, wherever, having some type of uniform, even if it meets a complete uniform that your, um, apartment complex or management company provides to you, or at minimum, which I've seen very com lately more than ever, is people provide you some type of Apollos or shirts that reflect the logo, the management company, and it kind of puts you and it reflects, uh, categorizes you as a maintenance.
Maintenance department of something of that sort. So when you have that, when you have that, it's able to differentiate you between, for example, a contractor or just a general tenant with an apartment complex. So being, having that, and at the same time, always looking professional, always looking clean, you know, clean, cut, neat, uh, it, it just stick pride in what you do.
Remember, we're not just, uh, doing repairs. We're an extension of the, uh, management company that we're working with, uh, and then within the team as well. So it's very important when you go ahead and do that because remember at the same time that, um, sometimes you're gonna meet new people and sometimes first impressions matter and having an impression where you act, profession, where you look professional, when you look, uh, clean cut.
When you're prepared, we'll say a lot about you. So keep that in mind. Uh, take pride in what you do. You do an outstanding job, but it also has to be reflected in the way you present yourself. So always the advice is to always look professional, look clean, always look neat, uh, and, and take pride in what you do.
Okay? Let's not do things halfway 'cause you are worth everything you do. Outstanding work. Also, it's not just about doing the physical work, it's about us completely looking for the people to get a 360 degrees of who you are as a professional. To be able to see that, um, that not only do you do the action, but you are a professional and the first presentation of yourself is gonna mean a lot.
So keep the good work, always look professional, always look presentable, and take part in what you do. Nothing but the best. Good luck.
