The question was, what is the difference between the limit switch and our fuse link or our heat terminals here? And the major difference is the limit switch protects you from heat. Uh, so this limit is when it reaches 135 degrees Fahrenheit, this switch will open. And then it will close when it meets the 35 degree difference.

So 1 35 minus 35 would be a hundred degrees. So if this reaches 1 35, this will open and disconnect power to the heating elements while it cools down. It will reset at a hundred degrees. So this is a reset switch that protects against, uh, overuse. Uh, it can happen. A lot of things can cause this to go bad.

Um. C clogged duct work. Um, bad coils. Uh, a lot of, a lot of things could cause us to go to go bad. The fuse link your terminals over here. This protects you from current. So while this protects you from temperature, this protects you from current. And when this goes bad, when this little fuse link back here, this piece right here.

When that melts, uh, due to over current, you have to replace that switch. It will not close itself automatically. So this is a protection against current. This is a protection from temperature that is the difference between these two pieces.
