Good morning everyone. Here's another quick tutorial, quick tip trick about some vertical blind slats. We seem to have a lot of these go bad everywhere you can think of, and in this case our cleaners actually knocked a few down. That broke real easy. So this is just gonna show you how, number one, to install some backup slats and a couple of tricks as we talk of why they break.

So most of the time people will try to open the blinds. In the closed position, and when you do that, it binds up and then strips these out. So the goal is to teach everybody open your vertical blinds when you're opening and closing them this way so you don't break the slats off. So we're gonna walk back over here, grab my four replacements, and we'll do this one handed.

It shouldn't be too bad. They snap right in. There's got two little clips, so you'll hear one clip and that second clip if you see, get it up. Alright, let's be good. Get it up over twice. There's one and you want it to go up one more and then it grabs in there, so knock the piece off. No big deal. Come over here.

Same thing.

All the way up into that second clip and actually miscounted, but I only needed three, not four. And this little corner piece, they're also pretty flimsy. They just pop right off. So this one just did when I was popping it in. So we'll go back up here. That was pretty fast. Hopefully we didn't give anybody some vertigo.

Back in place. So now, and then to close, we'll just close 'em back. And that's one of the biggest things we run into in the industry is these blind slats pop off, break all the time. People can accuse 'em of being cheap, but if they're installed correctly and the blinds are operated correctly, don't have any issues with those coming off.

Hopefully that worked on this quick morning, quick tutorial. Hope everyone has a good day. Thank you.
