Alton Johnson

Born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL, Alton Johnson chose to pursue a trade at a local technical institute after completing high school in 2001. He earned an associate degree in Heating, Cooling, Refrigeration, and Major Appliances, where he began his career as an HVAC helper in 2002 He then advanced to lead technician before moving to Atlanta, GA, in 2006 where he learned to specialize in gas system installation and repair.

In 2008, Alton transitioned into the property management industry as a maintenance technician. He progressed into a supervisor role where he has managed a diverse range of properties from affordable housing to luxury high- and mid-rise developments. He currently serves as a Facilities Operations Specialist within the corporate division of a student housing company. In this role, he oversees a portfolio of roughly 10 properties, providing essential support, training, and leadership to onsite staff.
